Geoffrey Quested-Jones

Geoffrey Quested-Jones is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Scandit since September 2020, specializing in developing efficient and accurate algorithms for barcode image resolution across various mobile devices, leveraging classical image processing and machine learning techniques. Prior to this role, Geoffrey was a Consultant at SPRINGHILL CONSULTANTS LIMITED, providing training on Python programming, and a Postgraduate Student at UCL conducting research in multispectral imaging for minimally invasive surgery. Earlier experience includes software development at LFM Software, focusing on CAD tools for 3D point cloud data, and e-learning web development for University of Bath's pharmacy department. Geoffrey holds a PhD in Medical and Biomedical Imaging and an MSc in Computer Graphics Vision and Imaging from UCL, along with a BSc in Mathematics from Cardiff University.
