Peter Hillestrøm

Peter Hillestrøm currently serves as SEND Manager at Scantox Group, a position held since February 2021. Prior roles include Senior Bioanalytical Scientist and SEND Specialist at Charles River Laboratories Copenhagen, and Senior Bioanalytical Scientist at CiToxLAB Scantox, where responsibilities encompassed GLP-compliant assay development, method validation, and sample analysis. Peter also has extensive experience as a Bioanalytical Scientist at LAB Research (Scantox), where a bioanalytical laboratory unit was established to support preclinical studies. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and a Master's in Environmental Chemistry, both from the University of Copenhagen. Additionally, Peter has held several research positions, including a PostDoc at the National Food Institute, DTU, and visiting scientist roles at the University of Pau and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
