Rand Whitney

Rand Whitney is an experienced professional specializing in brand management and retail support within the Active Lifestyle and Specialty Ski, Outdoor & Sportsman sectors. In the role of Principal at Alpin Sport Group since October 2015, Rand oversees the introduction of new and emerging brands to the U.S. market. Concurrently, Rand serves as Brand Director for the USA at Luhta Sportswear Company, representing a leading Finnish sportswear brand. Additionally, Rand holds positions as Brand Representative for SCARPA in the Mid Atlantic region and for ORTOVOX in the Northeastern U.S. Previously, Rand was Director of Sales for North America at MAMMUT Sports Group AG and Vice President of the Sporting Goods Division at High Sierra, Inc. Rand holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from LaSalle University and completed a Commercial Credit Management Program at First Fidelity Bancorp.
