Iyad Assaf

IYAD ASSAF, CPA, CMA, serves as the CFO for the Jordan business unit and Senior Assets Manager at Scatec ASA since December 2014, contributing to the company's mission as an integrated solar power producer. Previously, IYAD held the position of CFO at Chalhoub Group for a brief period in 2014, where the focus was on finance within a multi-billion dollar luxury retail partnership. IYAD also served as Finance Director at Eversheds Sutherland from 2011 to 2014, overseeing finances for a leading corporate law firm. Prior experience includes roles as Group Financial Controller at EPMC from 2008 to 2010, where financial policies were established, and Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young from 2003 to 2008, handling client relationships and technical issues. IYAD began the career as an Auditor at Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. Consulting from 2001 to 2003. IYAD Assaf holds a Certified Public Accountant designation and a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Jordan.
