Jacques Vorster

Jacques Vorster is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Control Officer at Scatec ASA since August 2017, Jacques focuses on generation, utilities, and distribution on a global scale. Prior to this role, Jacques spent nearly two decades at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, where responsibilities included serving as a Plant Manager and a subject matter expert and team leader for live work, alongside holding full authorization for maintenance and fault finding up to 132kV networks. Jacques began a career in the electrical field with training in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bloemfontein College from 2000 to 2001, building a strong foundation in maintenance of HV power lines and fault detection.
