Andrew Bowden

Andrew Bowden is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Senior Engineering Manager for Innovation and Optimization at Scatec ASA since August 2018. In this role, Andrew leads efforts to enhance the Engineering and Technology team's support for project opportunities by focusing on cost reductions and improved production efficiencies across various energy disciplines, including solar, wind, and hydropower. Prior to this, Andrew held positions at Arup, where experience as a Senior Engineer and Electro Mechanical Engineer was gained from January 2010 to July 2018, serving as a senior renewable energy consultant. Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Cape Town.
