Nic Bailey

Nic Bailey has a solid background in project technical management and engineering, with experience in the renewable energy sector. Nic held roles such as VP Project Technical Management at Scatec ASA and Project Technical Manager at Scatec Solar. Prior to that, they worked at Arup as a Senior Engineer focusing on renewable energy design, management, transaction advice on power plants, and energy modeling. Earlier in their career, they served as an Engineer at Allan Cunninghame & Ass.

Nic Bailey completed their matric at Diocesan College in 2003. Nic then went on to earn a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town in 2009, followed by a Master of Engineering in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the same institution in 2013. In 2017, Nic furthered their education by completing the Arup University Energy Futures and Transitions Masters Module at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School.
