Pongthai Chandpoung

Pongthai Chandpoung has a long history of work experience in the technology field. From 2017 to present, they have served as Chief Technology Officer at SCB Abacus. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Development Manager and Assistant Director at Ascend Corporation, responsible for managing feature teams of developers to deliver and maintain Ascendravel.com, Aden.asia, and Wemall. From 2005 to 2015, they were a Development Manager and Development Team Leader at Thomson Reuters, responsible for managing teams of developers, QA, and Product Support consultants delivering Thomson Reuters flagship market data authorization and reporting product. From 2002 to 2005, they were a Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters, delivering enhancements and maintenance for TIBCO Finance products including MarketSheets for Unix, ciServer, Shredder & Vidt, Entitlements TIC, ET, and AFT. Pongthai also had a short-term assignment in Palo Alto, CA to transition the products and the entire build systems to maintain in Bangkok development center.

Pongthai Chandpoung obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from Kasetsart University between 1998 and 2001. Following this, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the National Institute of Development Administration between 2010 and 2012.
