Bethany Johnson

Bethany Johnson has a wide range of work experience. Bethany began their career in 2011 as a Marketing and Content Writer for the African Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest, where they co-wrote a resource guide on doing business in Africa and a grant for federal funding for the ACCPNW. Bethany also assisted in African Round Table events promoting African businesses. In 2012, Bethany worked as a Research Analyst for Country Risk Solutions. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Product Director and Research Specialist for Relationship Science. From 2018 to 2019, Bethany worked as a Business Development Specialist (Investment Funds) for Kirkland & Ellis. Most recently, they are a Business Development Manager for Edge Beauty, Inc., a worldwide company based in New York and Paris with a direct-to-consumer business model.

Bethany Johnson began their educational journey in 2007 when they attended SBGE at Seattle Pacific University where they earned a BA in Business Administration with a focus in International Business. Bethany then went on to pursue their MSc in International Business in Emerging Markets at The University of Edinburgh, which they completed in 2012. In 2017, they obtained The Jimmy Bell/Givaudan Creative Fragrance Development Certificate from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Bethany is currently enrolled in the Advanced Perfumery Certificate program at Pratt Institute.
