Craig Ness has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Craig began their career at SCETV in 1988, where they held various roles, including Studio Crew Member, Studio Camera Operator, EFP Specialist, Advanced EFP Specialist, Associate Producer/Director, Producer/Director, Advanced Producer/Director, and Senior Producer/Director. In these roles, they produced, directed, and edited television programs for South Carolina's statewide PBS network. Craig also provided support for Final Cut Pro. In 2014, Craig became the Interim Operations Manager at SCETV. Craig then transitioned to the role of Director of Content and Operations ETV Sumter in 2015, where they provided managerial leadership and oversaw programming, production, budgetary matters, facilities, revenue generation, and personnel direction. In 2006, they also worked as a Real Estate Referral Agent at Agent Referral Center.
Craig Ness completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina, where they studied from 1984 to 1987. Prior to that, they attended North Greenville University in 1983 and did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In addition to their formal education, Craig has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "How to Be More Strategic in Six Steps," "The Three Pillars of Effective Communication," "How to Have a Happier Workweek," "Prioritizing Tasks for Maximum Impact," "Communicating with Emotional Intelligence," "Driving Workplace Happiness," "How to Organize Your Time and Your Life," and "Speaking Confidently and Effectively." These certifications were obtained in 2022.
