Nawfal Aljerian has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare field. Nawfal is currently the General Director of the General Administration of Medical Councils and Health attaches at the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Operations at the Medical Referrals Center. Nawfal also held the role of Board Member at the Saudi Red Crescent Authority. Additionally, they worked as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine & Emergency Medical Services at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Nawfal has also held positions of leadership at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and National Guard Health Affairs. Throughout their career, Nawfal has gained experience as a consultant, deputy chairman, and section head in emergency medicine and emergency medical services. Nawfal has also been involved in academic roles as an associate dean and course coordinator. Prior to their work in Saudi Arabia, they completed a fellowship in emergency medical services/clinical emergency medicine at the University of Toronto.
Nawfal Aljerian has a diverse education history. Nawfal earned their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Medicine from King Saud University in the period of 1997-2005. Following that, they completed a Saudi Board of Emergency Medicine residency program from 2005-2009 at National Guard Health Affairs-King Abdulaziz Medical City. In 2011-2012, Nawfal pursued a Fellowship in Emergency Medicine/Emergency Medical Services at the University of Toronto. Nawfal also holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Health Care from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, which they obtained from 2013-2015. Additionally, Nawfal completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship - MBSC from 2017-2019. Nawfal has obtained certifications in Ambulance Service Management from the National EMS Management Association in 2018, and in the National EMS Medical Directors Course and Practicum from the National Association of EMS Physicians, Inc in 2012.
