Alvin Ong has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alvin is currently the Head of International E-Commerce and Supply Chain at SCG International. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at Locad in 2021. In 2019, they held the position of VP Revenue Operations at Ticketmelon and from 2017 to 2018, they served as the Head of Channel and Partner Management at aCommerce. Alvin also worked as the Vice President - Vendor Management at Lazada Group from 2015 to 2017. Alvin's earlier experiences include being the Vice President of Sales at Magnificat Ventures Corporation from 2012 to 2014, a role in which they achieved significant revenue growth and improved sales productivity. Alvin also gained experience as an MBA Intern at the Global Innovation Management Institute and IXL Center in 2012, where they contributed to business case development and brand building initiatives. Alvin's career began as a Consultant, where they successfully launched a new product, prepared financial forecasts, and developed channel strategies. Prior to this, they worked at Kimberly-Clark, where they designed and tested an ERP software and implemented strategies to reduce reporting cycle time and distributor discounts.

Alvin Ong has a diverse education history. In 1999 to 2004, they attended De La Salle University, where they pursued a BA in Economics and a BS in Business Management, specializing in Economics and Applied Corporate Management. In 2011 to 2012, Alvin Ong attended Hult International Business School, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Management Consulting, Strategy, and Equity Valuation. Most recently, in 2021, Alvin Ong attended Duke Language School, focusing on the Thai Language. In addition to their formal education, they hold additional certifications including a level 2 consultant certification in Management Consulting from the Management Consulting Institute and a certification in Strategy and Value Creation from the Institute of Strategy and Valuation.
