Alexander Tormasov

Alexander Tormasov's work experience includes serving as the Chief Research Officer at Constructor Group since October 2023, a Consultant at Acronis since January 2009, and the Chief Scientist at Parallels since June 1999. In addition, they have been a Full Professor at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) since 1981, where they are also the Deputy Chair of Computer Science and actively involved in various research projects. Alexander has also held the position of rector at Innopolis University since September 2012.

Alexander Tormasov pursued their education at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT). From 1981 to 1987, they obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Subsequently, from 1981 to 1990, they continued their studies at MIPT and earned a Dr. Sci., habil. in Phys.–Math. degree in the same field.
