Albert Gil Moreno

Albert Gil Moreno is a seasoned Software and Support Engineer at SchedMD LLC, providing essential support for the Slurm workload manager since November 2018. As the Co-Founder and Chief of Software Engineering at HappyComputing, Albert focuses on enhancing software development and IT infrastructures for research institutions and technology firms. Previously, Albert was a Software Engineer at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya for over 11 years, contributing to software improvements for various research projects. Other notable experiences include co-founding FEZOO, developing computer vision solutions, and working at Sony on DigitalTV prototypes and quality assurance. Albert holds an Engineer degree in Telecommunications from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN, earned between 1998 and 2006.
