Rachel Enis, CHST, has a diverse work experience in the field of safety and environmental coordination. Rachel is currently serving as the Corporate Safety Director at Schiavone Construction Co. LLC since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Safety Manager at the same company from May 2019 to May 2021. Rachel also worked as a Safety Supervisor & Environmental Coordinator from May 2015 to November 2018, where they were responsible for creating Environmental, Health & Safety Plans (EHASP), developing Emergency Action Plans, and coordinating with local clinics and hospitals. Rachel also performed qualitative respiratory fit testing during this time. From February 2015 to November 2018, Rachel served as a Safety Supervisor & Environmental Coordinator, where they created EHASP, developed Emergency Action Plans, and created Safety & Health Environmental Management Plans. In their earlier roles, Rachel worked as a Safety Manager and Safety Representative, where they conducted site safety walks, orientated new hires, completed accident investigations, and created Safety, Health & Environmental Plans. Prior to joining Schiavone Construction Co. LLC, Rachel worked as a Safety Intern at Schiavone Construction from May 2011 to August 2011, where they communicated with tradespeople, recognized and remediated worksite hazards, and conducted accident investigations.

Rachel Enis, CHST pursued their education from 2008 to 2011 at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a degree in Environmental, Health & Safety Management. Beyond their degree, Rachel has acquired various certifications throughout their career. Some of these include being certified as an Asbestos Inspector by the New York State Department of Labor in June 2019, completing the C-3 Supervisor/Competent Person Training for Deleading of Industrial Structures from SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings in December 2018, and obtaining certification in Erosion & Sediment Control from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in June 2018. Furthermore, Rachel has obtained several other certifications such as OSHA 510 from Rutgers School of Public Health in September 2014, CHST from BCSP in April 2014, and being a Certified Trainer for Aerial Coom Lifts and Aerial Work Platforms from the IVES Training Group in February 2014. Rachel has also acquired certifications in Hazwoper in July 2012, 4-HR Supported Scaffold User in April 2012, and MTA NYC Transit Track Safety in August 2011. Rachel has completed courses in CPR/AED-Adult in July 2011 and OSHA 30-Hour in May 2011. In addition, they completed OSHA 500 from Rutgers School of Public Health in July 2017 and the 40 Hour Site Safety Manager Course from Big Apple Occupational Safety Inc. in February 2019.
