Marek Smęt

Marek Smęt is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently employed at Schibsted Tech Polska since August 2014, Marek is part of the Platform Team, focusing on the development and maintenance of the News REST API using Java, Groovy, and Scala. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at IBM from October 2010 to July 2014, where Marek worked on the TADDM project, and Software Engineer at IBM Polska sp. z o.o. from October 2006 to September 2010, contributing to the same large enterprise project. Marek's career began at Motorola as a Software Engineer, working on mobile devices for TETRA environments, and at Bio-logic as a Software Engineer. Educationally, Marek holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from AGH University of Krakow, completed during 1998-2003, with further studies at Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza in 2010-2011.
