Pål Ruud

Pål Ruud is an experienced technology leader currently serving as VP Engineering and CTO for Data&Tech at Schibsted since September 2016, overseeing privacy engineering and data management platforms that handle approximately 1.5 billion events daily. Prior to this role, Pål held positions as an Engineering Manager and Solutions Engineer at Iterate, working on web development and issues related to video streaming and identity platforms. Previous experience includes full stack web development consulting at Amedia AS and Get AS, as well as frontend development at Comoyo, and team leadership in internal development at Orakel/NTNU IT. Pål started a career in technology with a Master of Science in Communication Technology - Information Security from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, completed in 2011.
