Aya Ghoneim has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Aya started their career in 2012 as a Financial Advisor's Assistant and Office Coordinator at Keybase Financial Group, where they provided high-level customer service and reviewed accounts for compliance. In 2013, they worked as a Field Engineering Intern at Derwin Trading & Contracting Co. LLC, where they studied architectural and structural drawings and identified and resolved field issues.

Aya then joined Schindler Elevator Corporation (Canada) in 2016, first as a Coordinator of Methods, Processes, and Field Information, where they analyzed and monitored operational efficiency, and later as a National Compliance Manager, focusing on safety and quality compliance.

In 2018, Aya joined Schindler Group as an Executive Assistant to the Global President of Technical, Quality & Safety. In this role, they conducted research, prepared documents for review, and performed various administrative tasks.

Aya then became an FQE Project Manager at Schindler Deutschland in 2020, responsible for managing quality and technical projects. From there, they transitioned to a Director position, first as the Director of Technical, Quality & Safety - Asia Pacific in 2022, and currently as the Director of Technical, Quality & Safety and Sustainability Lead - Europe North since 2023.
