Eric Way

Eric Way has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Eric is currently serving as the Global Head of Inclusion & Diversity at Schindler Group since January 2020. Previously, Eric worked at Volvo Group for 18 years, primarily as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion. During their tenure at Volvo, they were responsible for managing diversity and inclusion for the company's 100,000 employees globally. Eric also worked as a Corporate Coach, supporting individuals and teams to enhance performance. Eric has extensive experience in product planning and development, holding roles such as Vision Coordinator & Organizational Development Manager and Product/Project Manager at Volvo Group. Before their time at Volvo, Eric worked at Renault Trucks, holding various product management roles. Eric'scareer began with co-op positions at Saturn, GE Plastics, and IBM.

Eric Way attended Cornell University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following that, they studied at Ecole centrale de Lyon in 1988 and 1989, obtaining a DEA/Master of Engineering degree in Fluid Mechanics. In 2009 and 2010, they pursued Coach and Team Certification at JBS School of Coaching in Lyon, France, focusing on Corporate Coaching: Individual and Team Building. Eric also completed an Executive Development program in Business Administration and Management, General at CEDEP in Fontainebleau in 2003.
