Eva Hickl

Eva Hickl serves as the General Counsel and Compliance Officer at Schindler Österreich since August 2018 and as the Managing Director at Schinac Verwaltungs GmbH since November 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Principal Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from January 2011 to July 2018, where responsibilities encompassed legal support for reorganization and acquisition processes and team leadership. Eva Hickl has also held positions as a Senior Associate and Associate, focusing on family businesses and corporate law, respectively, at Freshfields. Prior legal training was obtained at Wolf Theiss and academic foundations were established as a Research Assistant at the University of Graz. Eva Hickl holds a PhD in Law from the University of Graz, an LLM in International Tax Law from WU Vienna, and a Master's in Law from the University of Graz, with additional studies at Université Paris Nanterre.
