Michael Stein

Michael Stein is a highly experienced structural engineer and managing director at schlaich bergermann partner, having joined the firm in January 1996 and founded its New York City branch in 2004. Since 2009, Michael has been leading the New York office, overseeing a range of projects in structural engineering. Additionally, Michael served as Vice President and Bedford Visiting Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from January 2010 to June 2014, where responsibilities included leading studios and seminars for architects and engineers. Michael holds a Diplomingenieur degree in Structural Engineering and Design from the University of Stuttgart and a Diplomwirtschaftsingenieur degree in International Business from AKAD University.
