Christine Pellegrino, MSW, RSW, currently serves as the Director of Dementia Programs at the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging since July 2022. Previously, Christine worked as the Program Manager for Provincial Programs and Knowledge Translation at the Alzheimer Society of Ontario, where responsibilities included planning and evaluating provincial programs to enhance service delivery for local Alzheimer Societies. Christine also held the position of Regional Coordinator for Behavioural Supports Ontario at Ontario Health, focusing on advancing dementia care initiatives. Additional experience includes roles as COVID-19 Relationship Manager at the Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network and Psychogeriatric Resource Consultant with the Alzheimer Society Peel. An educational background includes a Master of Social Work with a specialization in Gerontology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Social Work from Ryerson University.
