Xavier Starrs

Xavier Starrs is currently a Staff Scientist at Schnabel Engineering, where they provide environmental assessments and compliance services while managing geospatial data. They are pursuing a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science at Johns Hopkins University and previously earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation and Government from William & Mary. As the Founder and President of W&M Fishing, they expanded the nonprofit to over 170 members and established key partnerships in the conservation community. Their past experience includes serving as a fisheries technician with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection and being a Leadership Council member for the Institute for Integrative Conservation, which strengthened their commitment to environmental advocacy.
