Ali Haj Fraj

Ali Haj Fraj serves as the Senior Vice President of Digital Factory and Machine Solutions at Schneider Electric since October 2015, overseeing a global Machine Automation business with a P&L of around 1 billion euros. Ali drives digitization and profitable growth in the portfolio and holds the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schneider Electric Automation GmbH. Prior to this role, Ali was employed at Siemens AG from May 2001 to September 2015, where responsibilities included leading global sales for the Utility business, managing grid planning for the Smart Grid Division, and overseeing strategy and portfolio management for Industrial Automation Systems. Ali holds a Dr.-Ing. in Dynamics and Control and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering, both from the Technical University of Munich.
