Chief Technology Officer - Microgrids at Schneider Electric

Lance Haines is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer for Microgrids at Schneider Electric since March 2009, Lance has played a pivotal role in the development of the Energy Control Center, facilitating efficient microgrid deployment. Previous roles at Schneider Electric include leading technology planning for the New Energy Landscape and managing the Conext Core XC solar inverter product line. Before this, Lance held a senior program manager position at American Power Conversion, focusing on market research and customer insights, and served as Engineering Manager at Solectria, overseeing power electronics development. Lance holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Spanish from Rice University.
