Sebastian Giraldo

Sebastian Giraldo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the industrial automation sector, currently serving as the Digital Innovation & Tech Director for South America at Schneider Electric since August 2012. Over the years at Schneider Electric, Sebastian has held various leadership roles, including Industrial Automation Business Director for the Andean Cluster and Distribution Channel Development Manager for South America, alongside positions in industry marketing and product management. Prior to their current tenure, Sebastian contributed to Sonepar as a Drives Product Specialist and worked at Inprelco as a Senior Control Engineer. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Smart-Ing | Smart Ingeniería. Sebastian holds a degree in electronic engineering from Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito and completed a program in Leadership & Strategy at INSEAD in 2017.
