Brenton Smith

Brenton Smith is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in strategy and business development within the automotive industry. Currently serving as VP of Strategy and Business Development for ECI North America and Europe at Yazaki North America since 2021, Smith previously held the position of Executive Director of Product Line Management at Aptiv, where the business grew from $1.1 billion to $3 billion. Smith's early career includes significant roles at Delphi, including Director of Business Planning and Manager of Business Development in the Asia Pacific region. Smith's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Business Studies focusing on Chinese Language and Culture from the University of South Carolina, along with a Bachelor's degree in Asian Studies and Chinese Language from the University of Florida, complemented by immersive studies at the Harbin Institute of Technology.
