Yavuz Goktas

Yavuz Goktas, Ph.D., serves as the Global VP of Design Assurance & Reliability at Schneider Electric, overseeing a comprehensive program for Design Quality Assurance in new product development since September 2022. Prior to this role, Yavuz held several significant positions, including Global Director of Operational Excellence at Pfizer and Global Head of Operational Excellence at Genentech, where expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and quality capabilities was developed and implemented. Earlier career experiences include leadership roles in quality assurance and operational excellence at Rockwell Automation, GE Transportation, Eaton, Motorola Mobility, Baxter Healthcare, and Ford Motor Company. Yavuz holds an MBA in Supply Chain from Michigan State University, a Ph.D. in Design for Reliability from West Virginia University, and a Master's degree in Operations Research & Engineering Management from Cleveland State University.
