Lisa Schmidt

Lisa Schmidt has a long and varied work experience. Lisa began their career in 1999 as a Program Assistant II at Iowa State University. In 2005, they were the Project Director for the AmeriCorps State of Promise Project. From 2006 to 2007, they were the Assistant City Manager for the City of Clive. In 2011, they became a Freelance Consultant while on extended hiatus from the professional workforce. In 2019, they returned to Iowa State University as the ISU Startup Factory Program Assistant II. In 2022, they began their current role as Senior Project Manager at Schneider Geospatial, LLC.

Lisa Schmidt completed their Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Services from Iowa State University in 1998. Lisa then returned to Iowa State University and obtained their Master of Public Administration (MPA) in 2005. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from the Project Management Institute: Fundamentals of Agile Project Management in September 2022 and Fundamentals of Waterfall Project Management in August 2022.
