Shelly Covins

Shelly Covins has extensive work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Shelly started their career at Leaseway Transportation in 1977, where they worked as an Accounts Receivable and Executive Assistant until 1985.

From 1985 to 1998, they worked at Penske Logistics as a Manager of Logistics Engineering. In this role, they managed the Logistics Engineering Department and developed supply chain solutions for automotive OEM client accounts, including Chrysler, GM, Ford, BMW, and tier supplier accounts.

In 1998, they joined Celadon Group Inc. as the Director of Automotive Sales. During their time there, they had commercial responsibility for automotive OEM accounts such as Chrysler, GM, Ford, Volkswagen, Honda, and tier suppliers like Delphi, Lear, JCI, and Textron.

Since 2004, Shelly has been working at Schneider National. Shelly started as a Global Client Manager, overseeing the commercial responsibility for automotive asset transportation in various modes, including van truckload, intermodal, and brokerage. Shelly then became the Director of Account Development, responsible for managing a strategic client base with corporate offices in Canada, Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
