Tomas Brooks

Tomas Brooks has a significant amount of experience in storage and infrastructure administration. Tomas started their career as a Data Center Operations Manager at Action Data Systems, Inc. in 1981 and later worked as a User Support Specialist at J.J. Keller & Associates, Inc. In 1996, they became a Lead Technical Analyst at Menasha Corporation, where they were responsible for Unix system administration and hardware procurement. Tomas then joined Hewlett-Packard in 1999 as an Account Support Engineer, specializing in HP-UX and SAP R/3 Basis Administration.

Tomas also worked at Kimberly-Clark as a Senior Analyst, where they performed SAP Basis Administration and Open Systems Storage Management Administration. Additionally, Tomas worked at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as a Technical Systems Analyst, focusing on SAN storage administration for capacity management.

In 2007, Tomas joined Sentry Insurance as a Systems Engineer, where they managed and supported EMC SAN arrays and performed disaster recovery planning and testing. Most recently, they worked as a Lead SAN Engineer at Schneider National, leading technical designs for projects involving storage resources and managing and supporting a SAN environment.

Tomas Brooks attended St. Mary Central High School from 1974 to 1978. Tomas then went on to study at Fox Valley Technical College from 1978 to 1980, earning an Associate of Science degree in General Accounting. From 1988 to 1990, Tomas pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management at Silver Lake College. Tomas later obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management from Cardinal Stritch University between 1990 and 1992. Finally, Tomas completed professional education and training from 1993 to 2012, although no specific degree or field of study was provided for this period.
