Frederick "Chuck" Streich Jr. began their work experience in 2001 as a Lab Manager/Technician at Loyola University. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Graduate Student at Louisiana State University Health Science Center- New Orleans. In 2010, they joined Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar and continued in this role until 2018. Since 2018, they have been working at Scholar Rock, starting as a Scientist and progressing to Senior Scientist I and then Senior Scientist II.

Frederick "Chuck" Streich Jr. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Tulane University from 1997 to 2001. Frederick "Chuck" then pursued further education at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where they earned their Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from 2005 to 2010.
