Joerg Liebel

Joerg Liebel is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Sr Director of Marketing at Scholar Rock since March 2025. Prior to this role, Joerg held various senior positions at MindMed from June 2023 to February 2025, including Executive Director for Global and US Commercial, and Sr Director of Global and US Commercialization. Joerg's tenure at Merck lasted over eleven years, where significant roles included Early Commercial Leader in Global Marketing and Director of Global Marketing. Additionally, at Novartis, Joerg served as Head of Marketing Innovation in Oncology and had comprehensive responsibilities for multiple product lines as Executive Brand Director and Head of Mass Marketing in Novartis Pharma Italy. Educationally, Joerg Liebel earned a PhD in Neuropharmacology from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
