Matt Larson

Matt Larson has over 20 years of work experience in talent management and recruitment.

Matt currently serves as the Sr. Director of Talent Management at Scholar Rock since May 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Talent Acquisition at the same company starting in July 2019. Matt also worked as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist from April 2018 to July 2019 at Scholar Rock.

From 2016 to 2018, Matt worked as a Senior Recruiter at Foundation Medicine. Before that, they were the Managing Partner at smart-tek, a specialized IT/Software division of Smart Staffing Service Inc., from July 2011 to May 2016.

Matt gained extensive experience in the staffing industry at Smart Staffing Service where they worked as a Sr. Recruiter / Account Manager for the Information Technology Division from September 2006 to June 2011. Earlier in their career, Matt held the position of Recruiting Manager at Smart BioTech Solutions from May 2002 to September 2007.

Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Technical Recruiter at smart-tek from March 2000 to May 2002.

Matt Larson attended Oliver Ames High School from 1992 to 1995. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Bridgewater State University from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
