Janet Castiglione

Janet Castiglione is an accomplished publishing professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and editorial management. Currently serving as Associate Director of Manufacturing and previously as Publishing Manager at Scholastic since July 2008, Janet leads the planning and coordination of new classroom book titles, managing a pre-press budget of $3M. Prior roles include Senior Manufacturing Manager at Kaplan Publishing, where substantial productivity improvements were achieved, and Global Managing Editor at Disney Publishing Worldwide, where Janet facilitated communication across global licensing partners and maintained project schedules. Earlier experience includes a position as Production Manager at Penguin. Janet’s educational background includes studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology and East Islip High School.
