Albert Boot

Albert Boot has extensive experience in the biotechnology and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as Associate Director of Manufacturing at Sutro Biopharma, Inc. since February 2008. In this role, Albert provides strategic direction for the Manufacturing organization and is a key member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team, mentoring and managing staff. Previously, Albert held various manufacturing positions at Sutro, including Group Leader and Process Development Scientist, where significant contributions were made in protein vaccines and therapeutics. Prior to Sutro, Albert worked as a Validation Specialist at Validation Systems Inc., and as a Research Associate at Scios Inc. Additionally, experience includes serving as Research Coordinator at J. Lohr Vineyards and Wines. Albert holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology from San José State University.
