David Rauch

David Rauch is a Test Engineer at SCHÖLLY FIBEROPTIC GMBH, specializing in the development-related design of optical tests for surgical devices since May 2023. Prior experience includes a Project Engineer Optics role at cytena and work on a Master's thesis at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, focusing on real-time fluorescence imaging. David has also contributed to technology demonstrators for surgical microscopes and camera-based 3D measurement devices while working with ZEISS RealScan Technologie, and completed internships and student projects that involved various aspects of optical design and evaluation. David holds a Master of Science in Applied Photonics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Optical Engineering from Aalen University.
