Zach Scott is currently serving as the Senior Director of Policy at the School-Based Health Alliance since April 2024, following a role as Virginia Policy Director at Potomac Conservancy from October 2023 to April 2024, where advocacy focused on clean water protections, environmental justice, and climate change. Prior experience includes working as the Senior Policy Manager at Rescue | The Behavior Change Agency, overseeing youth advocacy campaigns in Virginia, and as the Senior Manager of Federal Engagement and Outreach at the National Association of Secondary School Principals, leading lobbying efforts and developing advocacy strategies. Zach’s legislative background also includes positions as a Legislative Assistant, Legislative Correspondent, and Staff Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, where responsibilities encompassed managing legislative initiatives and constituent communications. Zach holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Grand Valley State University.
