Mark Reid

Mark Reid has extensive experience in emergency response and transportation services, currently serving as a School Bus Driver for the School City of Hobart since March 2022. In addition to this role, Mark has held the position of Fire Captain for Hobart Indiana since December 1999, where responsibilities include emergency response, fire suppression, and patient care. Previously, Mark worked as a Lieutenant at Allied Universal, overseeing emergency operations in an industrial setting, and as an FF/EMT at Burns International Security, focusing on industrial firefighting and hazardous materials. Other notable roles include serving as a Bass Drummer for Band of Brothers Pipes and Drums and working as a Delivery Driver for Ozinga. Mark's background includes significant engagement with the National Park Service as a Forestry Technician, specializing in wildland fire suppression. Mark holds a diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from Portage High School and has pursued further education through the Porter Memorial Hospital School of Emergency Medicine.
