Jefrey Leary

Jefrey (Jef) Leary is an experienced educator currently serving as a High School Spanish Teacher at Dundee-Crown High School within District 300 Schools since August 2018. Jef teaches Spanish 1-3, Spanish for Spanish Speakers 2, and AP Spanish Literature, while also fulfilling the role of Junior AVID teacher. Jef's professional development includes attending the College Board Advanced Placement Institute for Spanish Literature and Culture at the College of William and Mary and Rice University in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Previous experience includes a student teaching position at Rolling Meadows High School and a National Admissions Advisor role at Colorado Technical University. Jef's early career in the tech sector included various software testing and management roles at BlackBerry and Research In Motion, where skills in data analysis and project management were developed. Jef holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education, contributing to a strong academic foundation in Spanish and education.
