Jocelyn McIntosh has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an Aboriginal Resource Teacher for Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows School District No. 42 since May 2006, where support is provided to six elementary schools in the Central Zone of Maple Ridge, BC, situated on the unceded territory of the Katzie First Nation and Kwantlen First Nation. Previous roles include Grade 1 Teacher and various positions within Scouts Canada, specifically as Group Support Scouter and Troop Scouter, where responsibilities involved planning, teaching, and outdoor education leadership. Academic qualifications include a Master's of Education in Imaginative Education from Simon Fraser University, a Bachelor’s of Education in Environmental Education from Simon Fraser University, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Trinity Western University, and additional studies at the Winnipeg Holistic Expressive Arts Therapy Institute, Jelly Academy, and Douglas College.
