Amanda Guzman

Amanda Guzman is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition. Currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition for the School District of Lee County since August 2018, Amanda oversees projects aimed at enhancing the recruitment of educational personnel, including initiatives for career changers and teacher pathways. Previous roles include Teacher On Assignment in Recruitment, where Amanda developed recruitment materials and engaged with prospective educators, and as a Bookkeeper, managing financial transactions and budgets. Amanda also operated a business as a Fitness Coach at CROSSFIT THOROUGHBREDS, fostering community engagement and motivation. A former Classroom/Resource Teacher with the Lee County School District, Amanda contributed to high-quality teaching and curriculum development. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Florida Gulf Coast University and has pursued further education at Troy University and the University of Central Florida.
