Claire Nickie Powell

Claire Nickie Powell is an experienced educational professional with a diverse background in teaching and administration. Currently serving as Assistant Principal, Career Specialist, and High School Science Teacher at the School District of Oconee County since July 2011, Claire has also held the position of Educational Leadership Consultant with Delta Zeta Sorority and worked as a Substitute Teacher for Lexington-Richland School District Five. Prior experience includes roles as a Resident Assistant and Tiger Pride member at Clemson University. Claire holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Clemson University, obtained in 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in Science Teaching-Biological Sciences, earned in 2010.
