Aaron Gerwer

Aaron Gerwer is an experienced educational leader currently serving as School Principal for The School District of Philadelphia since July 2020. Prior roles include Head of School at Philadelphia Performing Arts from July 2018 to May 2020, where responsibilities involved managing programs and personnel development, and Co-Principal at Science Leadership Academy from July 2015 to July 2018, recognized as a model STEM school and responsible for professional development. Additionally, Aaron served as Special Education Liaison at Dobbins CTE High School from September 2011 to June 2014, leading a team of eight to implement a full inclusion model for students with IEPs. Aaron holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Arcadia University, completed in 2011.
