Emma-Lynn Melvin

Emma-Lynn Melvin is an experienced program manager with a strong background in green infrastructure and environmental education. Currently serving as the Green Infrastructure Program Manager for The School District of Philadelphia since December 2019, Emma-Lynn previously held the position of Delaware Bayshore Program Director at the American Littoral Society from May 2016 to December 2019, focusing on ecological restoration. Emma-Lynn also worked as the Green Infrastructure Coordinator at The College of New Jersey's Sustainable Jersey program, where efforts included facilitating pilot projects for municipal resilience. Prior experience includes managing grant and tree planting programs as the Plant One Million Regional Project Manager at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and coordinating a water resource education program as a Water Quality Educator at the University of Vermont. Emma-Lynn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a focus in Ecology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
