William Lawrence M.ed

William Lawrence M.Ed has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as a School Principal for The School District of Philadelphia since August 2016. In this role, William advocates for continuous improvement programs aimed at enhancing academic performance and teaching effectiveness while promoting community engagement. Prior to this position, William served as an Assistant Principal, overseeing a staff of over 80 and managing various educational and contractual issues. William's earlier roles include serving as a Principal Resident with PLUS Philly-TNTP, where coaching and teacher development were key responsibilities, and as a Lead Teacher in the William Penn School District, ensuring significant student growth in literacy and mathematics. William holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Saint Joseph's University and is pursuing a second Master's degree in Educational Leadership at Temple University, complementing earlier educational qualifications in Elementary Education from West Chester University and Community College of Philadelphia.
