Nikole Shurn

Nikole Shurn has a diverse work experience spanning multiple sectors. Nikole most recently worked as the District Wellbeing Director at the School District of University City since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the School Director of Wrap Around Services-University City at Wyman Center from June 2018 to July 2022. Nikole also worked as a Teacher at SLPS- Vashon High School from August 2017 to June 2019. Before venturing into education, Nikole worked as a Teacher - ELA at St. Louis Public Schools from July 2014 to August 2017. Nikole also has experience in nonprofit organizations, having held roles such as Resource Development Coordinator at Connections to Success from May 2013 to February 2014 and Director of REFRESH at Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition from April 2012 to January 2013. Additionally, Nikole has marketing experience, including roles as Marketing Manager at Superior Maintenance Co. from June 2007 to October 2009 and Account Executive at Marketing Works from 2000 to 2005. Nikole also owned their own boutique, NV Showroom Boutique, from August 2000 to April 2003.

Nikole Shurn began their education in 1996 at Kentucky State University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Nikole successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2000. After that, Nikole joined Webster University in 2000, embarking on a Master of Arts (MA) program in Media Communications. Nikole concluded their studies at Webster University in 2003, receiving their Master's degree.
