Nara de Sá Guimarães is the Vice President of Marketing & Communications at School for International Training. Nara has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on consumer marketing and entertainment.

Nara began their career in marketing and communications at Washington International Horse Show, where they served as Director of Marketing & Communications from 2014 to 2016. During their time at WIHS, Nara designed and implemented the marketing and communications strategy, led co-branding efforts with partners such as Discovery Communications' Animal Planet and MARS, and orchestrated creative show production. Nara also ensured that the horse show received features in all major national industry magazines and radio stations, as well as DMV-based news channels and lifestyle publications.

In their current role at School for International Training, Nara is responsible for leading the marketing and communications team and executing the school’s marketing strategy. Nara is also responsible for managing the school’s social media accounts and website.

Nara de Sá Guimarães has a graduate certificate in digital marketing and branding from Georgetown University. Nara also has a bachelor's degree in international economics and foreign languages from the University of Kentucky.

Nara de Sá Guimarães reports to Sophia Howlett, President & Chief Academic Officer,. They work with Andrew Dick - Executive Director of Global Operations, Eric Wirth - AVP, Enrollment Services, and Ian O’Brien - Director of Safety & Security.
