Douglas Richard

Douglas Richard has extensive experience in entrepreneurship and management within the technology sector. As the Founder of School for Startups Ltd. since 2008, Douglas has played a pivotal role in fostering innovation and supporting startups. Prior positions include Non Executive Director roles at Innovate UK and CRAC, and serving as a Venture Partner at Tudor Investments, where Douglas managed early-stage technology investments across Europe. Douglas co-founded and led Trutap and Library House, with both ventures achieving significant funding and influence within their markets. Additional leadership roles include Chair of the Board at Designer Servers Ltd., President & CEO at Micrografx, and Co-Founder of Visual Software and ITAL Computers. Douglas holds an Executive Management Certificate from UCLA Anderson, a Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UC Berkeley.
