Emrah K.

Emrah K. has been working in the IT field since 2007. In 2007, they began working as a System Administrator for Mynet, where they were responsible for managing and improving linux based systems on more than 50 different servers. In 2008, they joined Prime Ministry (T.C. Başbakanlık) as a System Administrator, where they were a team member responsible for keeping systems available for nearly all the time. Emrah set up hardware cablings, installed virtualization softwares, prepared virtual machines, installed server operating systems, monitored servers, worked on backup and recovery plans, and wrote scripts to automate daily or routine jobs. In 2016, they began working as a Freelance System Admin for Free. Finally, in 2018, they joined School Group as an Infrastructure Manager and Linux System Administrator. Emrah was performing tasks such as installing and configuring required softwares, monitoring systems, creating and verifying backups, creating and managing certificates, responding to and resolving help desk requests, upgrading systems and processes, and administrating infrastructure.

Emrah K. attended Boğaziçi University from 2000 to 2006 and obtained a Lisans Derecesi in Computer Engineering.
